Urban Designer or Town Planner

I have been job hunting for the past 2 months within the town planning, architecture, and property development related fields. Unfortunately, there hasn't been many openings so far. I have 3 years of experience in this field and am seriously considering changing fields. Could you give me any advice as to which other fields I can consider changing to?

I'm not saying you can't or shouldn't consider changing field, but what are you going to do with the 3 years of valuable experience you've learnt and accumulated? Write them all off?

What a waste! Again, like many other posts here I've come across, you guys are all so lost, discontented, with one thing in common, want to change but don't know how nor what and where to do and go.

There are thousands of jobs advertised in the market everyday, not knowing what you're looking for that doesn't mean anything to you, does it? So what exactly is your problem?

From SCMP, I can see lots of architecture posts, any reason why you said that the openings are not many?
