Hi, I am a 2008 engineering graduate and is now working as a management trainee in a real estate company. I planned to change my field of work as I dun think I would like to develop my career in this industry. I am interested in working in HR / finance field, and I plan to take a break and study master in UK. Can you give me some advice on this? How can I make a better choice between these?

An MBA without work experience is useless. Since you are just a 1-year graduate I suggest you work for a couple more years before considering taking MBA or Master. Otherwise you will just find yourself even harder to get a job with Master degreee.

So you are interested in HR and/or Finance field, can you first tell me what you know about these two industries? Why are you interested? What makes you think you have interest? I can guarantee you even if you can find a job in one of these two industries within a couple of months I'll hear from you again that you think you like something else.
I've had enough, you've only been in this job for a year, you're such a lightning fast learner so fast that you've learnt everything in your job? Oh! You want to take a break? How about us or your parents working more than half of our lives still working around the clock like a dog? How I wish we could afford taking breaks and holidays!
I've lost count how many times I've said this here before, MBA and/or any Masters won't and can't do magic, it won't and can't and will never get you a job you don't deserve or capable of doing. It's "YOU" employers are hiring, not your qualification. The earlier you recognize this the better!
I can't help but wonder how you manage to pay for the fees, and that you're so free to walk in and out of jobs whenever you guys feel like to, who's supporting your living? How about your parents' and family's?

I suggest you study an MBA in the US instead, as a US MBA is highly regarded when compared to UK Masters. For example, Stanford, Yale etc.
